In 2022, credit unions continued to ride the wave of economic uncertainty and evolving regulatory pressures. During this time, the League worked tirelessly to be a constant and credible advocate for members. The 2022 Annual Report details how we supported credit unions with vital resources that improve operating efficiency and member service, and leading education that helps you address the challenges and opportunities of serving 3.2 million Ohioans.
Innovation was a core focus in the League’s 88th year, as the League board and staff worked to better understand credit union needs while remaining responsible stewards of your membership investment. These included:
- Engaging 54 Ohio credit unions in meetings with legislators to discuss issues important to the Movement.
- Connecting 72 credit unions with state and federal regulators.
- Staff from 128 credit unions attended professional development programs to hone their skills and prepare to address oncoming challenges.
- More than 300 credit union leaders connected with peers on Huddle, your online member community, for ideas, inspiration, and networking.
- More than 50 percent of members accessed the InfoSight online compliance library 5,600 times.
