There were no spooky frights at this year’s Ohio Credit Union Foundation Clay Classic, held on Oct. 25. It was a fundraising success, raising more than $24,000 for financial inclusion programs across the state. This result demonstrates the commitment and passion credit unions and industry supporters have for furthering the mission of people helping people.
More than 125 participants from 30 credit unions and 15 sponsoring organizations gathered at Black Wing Shooting Center in Delaware to network with peers, enjoy a hog-roast lunch, and shoot some sporting clays. The proceeds will advance the Foundation’s ability to fund programs, projects, and initiatives that financially empower individuals and strengthen credit unions and communities across Ohio.
“We are so grateful to the many individuals and organizations who came together to support the Clay Classic and provide critical funds for projects that improve lives,” said Kim Connor, Ohio Credit Union Foundation Executive Director. “It was a really fun day that will leave a lasting impact across Ohio.” Learn more about Foundation initiatives or contact Director of Development Katie Matney.
