A community just for young professionals

GRID is a group of dedicated and passionate credit union professionals (under 40 in age or new to the industry) dedicated to developing a professional community and eager to enhance the Credit Union Movement through networking, professional development, and advocacy. Despite the pandemic, GRID has grown to more than 60 current members spread across the state.

Networking starts with the League online communication channel, Huddle, social media, and events that connect diverse people facing the same challenges and opportunities.

Every other month GRID offers a Lunch & Learn series for professional development. The series is provided virtually so young professionals can keep current on trends and develop skills to enhance their credit union careers.

Next month’s Lunch and Learn series will feature the League’s advocacy experts. They will share tips and techniques so young professionals can make a difference in the fight to protect the credit union model and advance their interests at all levels of government. Under the leadership of the Ohio Credit Union League, GRID young professionals are strong advocates for credit unions. In the past, GRID has participated in Hike the Hill, CUNA GAC, and frequent legislator communication via VoterVoice.
