Offering quality health benefits is crucial to retaining and attracting a talented workforce, and that can be difficult with fewer staff and resources to keep premium costs at bay. The Ohio Credit Union League has partnered with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to provide health plan solutions to save credit unions time, money, and effort better spent on serving members.
League members with 2-50 employees have access to the Chamber’s Multiple-Employer Welfare Arrangement (MEWA), enabling credit unions to join other small businesses in offering health plan benefits that rival larger companies competing for talent.
This program could save your credit union up to 25% on health benefit program costs when you work with the Ohio Chamber Insurance Agency. It includes access to ten different plan designs and over 25,000 in-network providers as a benefit of your Ohio Credit Union membership. No additional membership to the Ohio Chamber is required.
Looking to learn more?
The League will host a webinar on Sept. 5 for credit unions to learn about health benefit plan types available in Ohio and strategies for securing quality, affordable group coverage. Register and watch your email for program updates that are available through this partnership.
