Providing members with face-to-face access to some of the most influential members of the media is one of the many benefits a League membership provides. Media luncheons create a space for robust dialogue between your credit union and reporters in your area, who are fully interested in sharing the credit union story with their readers.
These connections spark long-lasting partnerships, giving your credit union the edge in getting your story published. And sometimes, a story is so relevant, the reporter publishes it immediately. Russ Abbott received coverage in the Cincinnati Business Courier regarding Christian Family Credit Union’s expansion and rebranding after League hosted media luncheon. One of the reasons behind the recent expansion was to make Christian Family Credit Union a resource for adoption loans. “A big part of the church is family. And this expands the number of people we can reach,” said Christian Family Credit Union CEO Russ Abbott.
Enhancing and protecting your credit union’s reputation is a key strategy to growth and success, and the League is privileged to facilitate these connections to further the Ohio Movement.
