Bringing together industry experts, participants, and leaders to work through challenges, cultivate ideas, and network is the hallmark of the cooperative movement. That is precisely what this year’s Advocacy on Track exemplified. After a welcome reception at the Angel’s Envy Distillery, nearly 200 attendees had the opportunity to spend a day at historic Churchill Downs learning from fraud experts, hearing from League leadership about the ongoing tax battle, and engaging industry advocates on everything else affecting your ability to serve more people, families, businesses, and communities.
This type of engagement, advocacy, and collaboration highlights the importance of the Credit Union Movement and how credit unions are better together. If you could not join us this year in Louisville, check out this year’s Hike the Hill for your chance to advocate for your members in D.C. to federal decision makers.
