Ohio’s Leadership Recognition Program is now open for submissions, and this is your opportunity to shine a spotlight on the individuals whose leadership and contributions inspire us all.
Each year, the Ohio Credit Union League honors exceptional credit union leaders through awards that recognize leadership, advocacy, outreach, financial education, and member service. These prestigious awards celebrate individuals who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to strengthening the credit union community in Ohio and beyond.
Do you know someone who embodies these qualities? A visionary leader who has paved the way for others? A tireless advocate for the credit union mission? Someone whose efforts have made a tangible difference for members and peers alike? If so, we invite you to nominate them for one of the following awards:
- Louise McCarren Herring Movement Advancement Award This honor celebrates credit union system leaders whose contributions have left a lasting impact on the Credit Union Movement. Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to advancing the philosophy and legacy of credit unions, creating meaningful progress for members and the industry.
- Robert Kloss Professional Achievement Award Designed to recognize CEOs and senior executives, this award honors those who embody professionalism, integrity, and visionary leadership. Nominees should have demonstrated exceptional achievements over a span of at least five years, leaving an enduring mark on their credit union and its community.
- Claude Clarke Advocacy Impact Award Advocacy is the backbone of the Credit Union Movement, and this award celebrates those who champion its mission. It recognizes the dedication, leadership, and impact of employees or volunteers who have worked tirelessly to advance credit union advocacy in Ohio and beyond.
How to Submit Your Nomination
Nominating a leader is more than recognizing their hard work; it is a celebration of their passion, vision, and influence. To submit a nomination:
- Nominees must be from an Ohio Credit Union League-affiliated credit union.
- Nominations must be endorsed by two other League-affiliated credit unions.
- Entries are due March 14, 2025.
