Understanding the why behind what you do and how it helps your credit union’s members is key to feeling connected to the People Helping People philosophy, and the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) is here to help. The NCUF’s Development Education (DE) program is a transformative, experiential training, that helps participants leverage the credit union difference to improve financial well-being for all. Built for emerging or established leaders from credit unions, system partners and organizations that support credit unions, the DE program helps Movement leaders understand and influence credit unions’ unique business model to serve members and communities in new and better ways. Explore the DE program and learn about upcoming program dates here.

Excited about the DE program but not the cost? The Ohio Credit Union Foundation’s (OCUF) Louise McCarren Herring Credit Union Development Educator Scholarship covers DE program registration and lodging costs for participating Ohio credit union staff. For more information on how to apply and the scholarship’s requirements, visit the OCUF website.
