Credit unions celebrate Foundation’s work at inVest48

On Monday, April 22, the Ohio Credit Union Foundation held its annual Foundation Dinner during the inVest48 convention. Blending 1990s nostalgia with generous philanthropy, more than 150 credit union professionals and supporters came together in their favorite styles from the decade to support the Foundation’s mission. From flannel shirts to scrunchies, the spirit of the 90s was alive and well!
One of the highlights of the evening was the overwhelming generosity displayed by attendees. Through various avenues, including generous corporate sponsorship from Corporate One FCU, attendee registration, on-site donations, and an exciting raffle drawing, the Foundation raised more than $17,000. This incredible support will directly contribute to the Foundation’s initiatives, which will positively impact credit union communities.
The evening celebrated the importance of giving back and the power of coming together as a community to improve lives. Through events like the Foundation dinner, we support worthy causes and foster connection and collaboration that reverberates throughout the Credit Union Movement.
