Building and maintaining strong personal relationships is a critical component of a successful advocacy effort. That is why the League was thrilled to host Treasurer of State Robert Sprague at this year’s inVest48 PAC Happy Hour. Treasurer Sprague spoke of the great public-private partnerships his office is focused on through the various linked-deposit programs, including the newest, Family Forward. The Family Forward program seeks to make adoption more affordable for Ohio families, and the first two financial institutions to participate in the program were credit unions, both of which Treasurer Sprague highlighted as they were in the room.

That passion for advocacy reverberated in results as the League’s PACs set an all-time fundraising record for inVest48 with more than $6,000 raised! A huge thank you to all of those who contributed. If you were unable to attend or contribute at i48 but want to do your part and boost the League PACs, you can make an online contribution here.
