OCUL defeats MCUL; support year-end PAC efforts

A key aspect of a robust advocacy effort is political participation, and thanks to your continued support, the League’s Political Action Committees (PACs) have remained strong. After a monumental, last-second win last year, Ohio’s credit unions showed their advocacy pride once again and defended our title against the Michigan Credit Union League in our CULAC PAC challenge. Collectively, Ohio raised $3,680 to Michigan’s $2,695 for a grand total of $6,375; all of this supports credit union champions in Congress. Collectively, this was a huge win for credit unions and Movement advocacy. Thank you to all of those who participated in this year’s challenge.

With the year-end quickly approaching, we need your help to finish out 2023 in a strong position and ensure success for the League’s PACs in 2024. For credit unions with payroll deduction programs, please remit year-end contributions by Dec. 22 through ACH or by check made out to “OCULAC” or “OCULPAC” (depending on applicable PAC). You can mail them directly to the League at 10 W. Broad St., Suite 1100, Columbus, OH 43215. If you weren’t able to join in on the MCUL challenge but wish to make a one-time contribution, you can do so here.
