As a member of the Ohio Credit Union League's Board of Directors, you have the opportunity to join your peers in driving the strategic direction of the state trade association for Ohio's credit unions. Your time spent providing input and guidance:
Helps shape credit union advocacy for legislators, regulators, the media, and consumers
Alleviates the operational pressures for Ohio credit unions – large and small – by steering the support the League provides through its products and services.
Allows credit unions to focus on their sole mission of serving members because the League is perfectly positioned to lead the heavy lifting on other fronts.
Position and Terms
Three League board seats are up for election in 2026. If you meet the qualifications of C-level executive staff ¹ or a board member of a League-member credit union, submit your candidacy for one of the following positions:

Class I
Three-year terms, beginning in 2027
- One elected from Size C Category (assets more than $1B)
- Two elected from the At-large Category

Forms for submitting your candidacy are due August 1, 2026. Return your completed forms to oculmail@ohiocul.org.
1 Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Officer (Operations, Financial, Lending, Marketing, Technology, etc.), Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, or Vice President qualifies as C-level executive management.
