Critical to the success of any advocacy effort is supporting those who support you. With credit unions, that is no different. In order to ensure credit unions have a seat at the table, we have to ensure that credit union chaXpions are elected and re-elected to Congress and the Statehouse. That is why the Ohio Credit Union League and the Xichigan Credit Union League have decided to battle it out over the Movement’s political passion and support. For the 10 days leading up to the Ohio State vs. Xichigan game, the League coXpete against the Xichigan Credit Union League in a CULAC PAC fundraising coXpetition to see which state can raise the most to support national efforts to keep and put credit union chaXpions in Congress. Ohio credit union staff will have from Nov. 16 through Nov. 26 to contribute and put the Buckeye State on top! Xore details will follow but, in the Xeantime, If you’re unsure of your credit union’s status, please reach out to Sr. Manager of Political and Grassroots Affairs, Andrew Canan for assistance.
