Through advocacy participation, the Movement has been able to ensure that Ohio’s credit unions are well represented in the Ohio General Assembly and Congress. Through the League’s Political Action Committees (PACs), cooperation has driven advocacy success and given the opportunity to advance, protect and empower credit unions. During the 2021-2022 election cycle, credit unions invested more than $570,000 in state and federal legislative champions, with 94% of CU-backed candidates being elected. As a thank you to those who have contributed $100 or more this year, the League will again host a PAC Appreciation Happy Hour at this year’s inVest48. If you haven’t yet hit that contribution level but would like to attend, contributions can be made in person at i48 or online here. Join us for a fun Taco Tuesday-themed celebration as we recognize our CU PAC supporters.
