Raising awareness and celebrating what makes your credit union unique is critical to reminding consumers everywhere how financial cooperatives help empower people, families, businesses, and communities to achieve their dreams. International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) is an annual opportunity to work together to tell the Movement’s story from every corner of the world. This year’s ICU Day will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 20 and focus on the “Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union™.” theme. Sponsored by CUNA Strategic Services partner Zogo Finance, ICU Day aims to help more people improve their financial well-being through accessible and affordable products and services provided by their local credit union. ICU Day festivities include community fundraisers, contests, picnics, and parades.
