Credit unions have the power to drive meaningful change within the communities they serve. That is why topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion are a recurring theme throughout our inVest48 agenda. If you are looking to build upon your current DEI efforts and lead a broader conversation within your credit union, check out the sessions below:

  • Moving Towards an Inclusive Workplace – While diversity refers to the differences and similarities between people, inclusion focuses on embracing and celebrating said differences. Daniel Juday leads this moderated panel discussion, offering tangible ways your credit union can move towards being more inclusive.
  • The Role of Credit Unions in Advancing Racial Economic Justice – Learn how credit unions can take steps to change the inequities system that is causing predatory lending injustices.
  • Recruiting Tips for a Diverse Board – The time has come for leaders in credit unions to make a concerted effort to build more diverse and inclusive non-profit boards. This session offers enlightening information from years of research conducted by the United Way of Central Ohio and critical steps to take now to build a diversified board to represent your members.
  • It’s On Us: How Leader Intervention Shapes Workplace Culture and Drives Inclusion – Explore how company leaders can recognize the many subtle warning signs of harmful behavior at work, develop the skills to de-escalate and address those situations in the moment, model allyship, and influence equitable, inclusive practices.
