Building a foundation for 2021 success

Thanks to the generosity of many credit unions, individuals, and business partners, the Ohio Credit Union Foundation awarded 50 grants totaling nearly $300,000 to assist credit unions, communities, and individuals across Ohio in 2020. Most notably, more than $200,000 in member pandemic assistance for mortgage, grocery, and utility relief was distributed from Ohio credit unions directly to members experiencing financial challenges.

To set a strong foundation in 2021, the Ohio Credit Union Foundation Board established a $250,000 fundraising goal, and thanks to a generous $25,000 donation from Corporate One FCU, the Foundation is already fueling up for another impactful year of helping credit unions serve people and advance communities.
