Founded in 2019, this vibrant community serves as a dynamic hub for emerging leaders within the credit union industry. The acronym GRID encapsulates the groups its core values and goals: Grow, Retain, Inspire, and Develop credit union talent. GRID’s mission extends beyond age boundaries, welcoming professionals under 40 and any League members passionate about industry growth. Members gain valuable insights, expand their networks, and hone their leadership skills through a robust lineup of Lunch & Learn webinars, engaging in-person events, and the annual Workshop and Mentorship Program. GRID also empowers its members to be effective advocates for credit unions, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to influence government policies at both state and national levels.   • Emerging Leaders Workshop, April 22: An opportunity for emerging leaders to enhance their skills, followed by a networking reception with credit union CEOs.
  • InVest48, April 22 – April 24: this event brings together over 300 credit union professionals in Ohio to share ideas and strategies for success. It takes place at the Hilton Columbus Downtown.
  • GRID Lunch & Learn: Credit Union Advocacy 101, May 9: Emerging leaders can learn how to get involved in advocacy, make a tangible impact, and ensure the voice of their credit unions and members are heard.
  • Credit Union Statehouse Day, May 22: Attendees will hear from influential officials and connect with legislators at the Ohio Statehouse.
  • GRID CEO Panel & Networking Event, July 17: Meet with credit union CEOs as they share insights on leadership, the Credit Union Movement, current challenges, and what they see for the future of credit unions. Following the CEO Panel Discussion, attendees will enjoy a networking reception.
