Connecting with elected officials and sharing how financial cooperatives protect, promote, and advance people, families, businesses, and communities helps advance credit union policy priorities. That’s why the League recently hosted State Representative Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) and two district credit unions, Medina County Federal Credit Union and Towpath Credit Union. Representative Ray expressed her appreciation for the work financial cooperatives do to promote financial inclusion and help Ohioans achieve their financial dreams. Medina and Towpath shared the excellent work they are doing in their communities and how they are protecting their members from never-ending fraud attacks.

If you would like to build a relationship with your local legislative leaders, contact League Legislative Affairs Director, Jared Weiser, to schedule a branch tour and meet-and-greet.
