League connects elected officials with credit union leaders

While your credit union focuses its time and energy on best serving your members, the League works to tell state elected officials how financial cooperatives protect, promote, and advance people, families, businesses, and communities. Since the best Movement storytelling happens with and in Ohio credit unions, the League connected State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark), a former Ohio State Trooper and State Highway Patrol Federal Credit Union member, to his credit union. Rep. Miller and the credit union team talked about how government can work together to further the People Helping People philosophy and advance communities one member at a time.

If you would like to build a relationship with your state legislative leader, reach out to League Legislative Affairs Director, Jared Weiser, and he’ll work to get a facility tour and meet-and-greet scheduled.
