League connects with credit union champions

Relationship building with the decision-makers at the statehouse and in Congress is critical for advocacy success for Ohio’s credit unions. That is why the League was pleased to follow up on our meeting with Senate President Matt Huffman (R-Lima) and Senate Majority Whip Rob McColley (R-Napolean) by attending a fundraiser hosted by the Republican Senate Campaign Committee. Continuing our backing of key leaders in the legislature, the League also supported House Assistant Minority Leader Thomas West (D-Canton), a huge credit union champion throughout his time in the statehouse, at an event. Finally, the League recently attended a fundraiser for Jacob Larger (R-New Bremen), a candidate for the Ohio House and credit union member to develop a relationship and represent the Credit Union Movement. If you have any questions or are interested in hosting a candidate or elected official, please feel free to reach out to Sr. Manager of Political and Grassroots Affairs, Andrew Canan.
