There’s still time to submit your candidate form to be an Ohio Credit Union League director and make an impact statewide. Candidacy forms are due Aug. 1.
Ohio Credit Union League board members work together to drive the strategic direction of the only state trade association representing Ohio’s credit unions. Your time spent serving in this role advances credit unions in several key areas:
- Shaping legislators, regulators, the media, and consumers’ knowledge of credit unions, by steering state and federal advocacy initiatives;
- Alleviating operational pressures for credit unions – large and small – through the review and support of new League products and services; and
- Providing insight to help set League priorities in favor of activities that will have the most impact on credit unions today and tomorrow.
Why wait? One League board seat Size-C and two At-Large Categories – are up for election in 2023. Any board member of a League-member credit union or qualified C-level executive staff (Chief Executive Officer; President; Chief Officer of Operations, Financial, Lending, Marketing, Technology, etc.; Executive Vice President; Senior Vice President; or Vice President) is eligible.
