In addition to the good work that credit unions already do to remain compliant with federal and state regulations, it is often necessary to peer around the corner and prepare for new developments on the regulatory horizon. To that endeavor, the League hosted National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Southern Regional Director, Keith Morton, and his team to discuss everything from the economy to examinations and due diligence to loan participations. The League always appreciates when regulators are open to candid dialogues, and the NCUA’s Regional Director, Keith Morton, is no exception. As a result, we always have great discussions and look forward to having more in the future.
