We’re living in a new decade, but the League’s mission remains laser-focused on helping credit unions grow and serve their membership by reducing regulatory burdens, expanding authorities, ensuring data security, and preventing any threats to the not-for-profit structure. Your League is committed to a robust strategy to tackle these state and federal advocacy priorities in 2020.

Reduce regulatory burdens so credit union members have access to efficient and affordable services.

Expand authorities so consumers and businesses can more easily access credit union services they need and expect.

Strengthen data security so credit union members are protected from cyber-attacks and data breaches.

Combat tax threats so all credit union members can continue to benefit from our not-for-profit financial services.

If you would like to learn how you or your credit union can help with our efforts, we encourage you to contact Senior Vice President of Advocacy, Emily Leite at 800-486-2917, ext. 270, or eleite@ohiocul.org, Director of Legislative and Political Affairs, Cory Fleming at 800-486-2917, ext. 205, or cfleming@ohiocul.org, or Manager of Legislative and Political Advocacy, Andrew Canan at 800-486-2917, ext. 210, or acanan@ohiocul.org.
