Ensuring a competitive dual charter system exists is what allows you to evaluate the best ways to grow, reach, and serve your members. That is why the League took the opportunity to support amendments that may have an impact on your operations and could improve regulations at both the state and federal levels.

  1. Ohio Department of Commerce – The League supported common-sense rule updates to the current unclaimed funds rules. These updates should help to make the current process clearer and more conducive to ever-changing digital assets.
  2. National Credit Union Administration – The League supported updates to loan participation rules that will allow credit unions to remain innovative and give them the tools necessary to adapt to constantly changing lending markets without placing undue risk on the share insurance fund.
