A key part of advocacy success is building and sustaining relationships with decision-makers. By supporting those who support credit unions, we can ensure that credit unions have a seat at the table when key policy decisions are made. That can’t be done without credit union collaboration and support.

Through the second quarter, you’ve raised nearly $173,000 which represents a $12,000 increase over last year to date. More than $100,000 was contributed to support state and federal decision-makers and build lasting relationships with leaders, like U.S. Senator JD Vance (R-Cincinnati). The Ohio Credit Union Political Action Committee and Southwestern Ohio credit unions supported Senator Vance, and now Republican U.S. Vice Presidential Nominee, shortly after his election. Connections, like with Senator Vance, are crucial to future-proofing Ohio Movement advocacy.

Help us reach the $335,000 year-end goal through a one-time contribution or by scheduling an advocacy update for your credit union’s team to get involved.
