Ensuring credit union champions are elected and re-elected to the Ohio General Assembly and Congress is a key to driving advocacy success. With the cooperative spirit in mind, Ohio’s credit unions regularly drive collective success and incredible results through the League’s Political Action Committees (PACs). As a thank you to those who have contributed $100 or more, the League will once again be hosting a PAC Appreciation Happy Hour at this year’s inVest48. If you haven’t yet hit that contribution level but would like to intend, contributions can also be made in-person at i48. Join us for light appetizers and cocktails as we recognize our CU PAC supporters; we also just might have a special guest stop by. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sr. Manager of Political and Grassroots Affairs, Andrew Canan.

Vance (R-Ohio) to discuss the successes and challenges facing credit unions and their members in his home state.

As we start a new year, it is essential that credit unions have a review process for policies and procedures. As the financial industry evolves, so should the resources and guidelines that the credit union follows. As part of your annual League membership, making these updates is more accessible than ever.

Three tips to assist your members in reaching their financial goals

February is a great time to check how those New Year's Resolutions are doing. Assist your members with plans to reach short and long-term financial goals by downloading the February Monthly Marketing Toolkit, a complimentary resource as part of your League membership, which provides tips to share with your members. This toolkit from the League each month provides timely, basic, helpful content to use in your credit union's communication channels (newsletters, websites, blogs, social media, etc.).
