We know members value the important advocacy work that the League undertakes on behalf of all credit unions. Our commitment to address key threats, such as credit card interchange income, fees, and regulatory overreach, has never been more focused.
You can have a strong voice in this process, too. This week, the League launched Advocacy on Point, a members-only online community for advocacy discussions. Advocacy on Point is part of the League’s Huddle Community and is open to members who want to discuss and engage in advocacy initiatives for the Ohio Movement.
This is a space where you can receive breaking news on legislative and regulatory activities and have candid discussions with peers about the issues that impact your credit union. You can also learn how to engage in the advocacy process, ask questions of the League’s Advocacy team, and provide valuable feedback on proposed legislative and regulatory changes, even when you can’t get away from the office to join an in-person advocacy event.
Advocacy on Point is your community and a way to help grow the collective impact of our advocacy efforts. To get started, click here, sign in to the League’s website, and select the drop-down “Communities” menu. Choose “All Communities” and select the Join button next to Advocacy on Point. We look forward to talking with you online. Reach out to Emily Leite, Chief Advocacy Officer, with any questions.
