ODFI roundtables provide a snapshot of the state

Keeping a pulse on today is the best way to ensure a successful tomorrow. That is why the League joined the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions (ODFI) for regional dialogues around the state focused on what our provincial regulator is seeing right now in the credit union space, and on the horizon.

Specifically, over the last three weeks, ODFI held regional roundtables in Findlay, Canton, Columbus, and West Chester, where credit unions heard about current credit union trends (assets are up, membership is up, the number of credit unions continues to decrease), planned updates to the Ohio Administrative Code, and the latest on a string of cyber incidents. Roundtables like these are vital to a promising credit union future as optimal regulation occurs when regulators and the regulated collaborate to build a financial ecosystem designed to allow you to do what you do best: serve your members.
