Supporting those who support credit unions is part of the credit union advocacy ethos, and through the cooperative spirit, credit unions are able to band together to make a huge impact by ensuring credit union champions are elected to Congress and statehouses across the country. While a Buckeye wasn’t fortunate enough to take home the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) Sweepstakes grand prize during CUNA GAC, collectively, the Buckeyes did come home in 11th place overall in the CULAC Sweepstakes by raising $5,915 thanks to the incredible generosity of Ohio’s credit unions. As always, League staff are happy to present at your next staff or board meeting if you are interested in your credit union getting further involved in advocacy.
