CU Statehouse Day is your opportunity to hear directly from your Ohio leaders as they share their ideas on vital issues impacting the Movement. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose as our keynote speaker at this year’s event on June 4, 2020.
As Secretary of State, LaRose is doing his part to deliver a thriving democracy and a prosperous economy. In his role as Ohio’s chief elections officer, he’s working to ensure Ohio’s elections are secure, accurate and accessible. He is also supporting Ohio entrepreneurs as the sole authority to receive and approve articles of incorporation for Ohio businesses. Prior to his election as Secretary of State, LaRose served two terms in the Ohio Senate representing the 27th Senate district which includes Wayne County and portions of Stark and Summit Counties.
Registration for CU Statehouse Day is now open! For your convenience, we have reserved a special block of hotel rooms for Wednesday night at the Residence Inn, which is a short walk from the Statehouse. Join us Wednesday night for a peer networking happy hour at the Buckeye Bourbon House before we get our day started on Thursday. More to come on the schedule, parking, attire, and other details.
If you have questions, please contact Advocacy Coordinator Jamila Collins. We look forward to seeing you at CU Statehouse Day!
