Only 48 hours left to erase some of your student debt

November 3, 2021 | Ohio Credit Union League Foundation

The deadline to submit your Student Loan Forgiveness application is tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT. We know that student loan repayment isn’t fun, but the Ohio Credit Union Foundation (OCUF) is here to help Ohio credit union employees eliminate some student debt by awarding three $5,000 Student Loan Forgiveness Grants. Submit entries to the OCUF web page by completing a brief narrative (one to two pages) explaining how credit unions can be industry leaders in a post-COVID society. Entries will be narrowed down by Ohio Credit Union League staff based on creativity, details of the essay, and the knowledge of the Credit Union Movement. The five highest-scoring entries will then be judged by the Ohio Credit Union Foundation board members. Winners will be announced Monday, Dec. 6, 2021.

Don’t miss your opportunity to put a dent in your student debt. Contact League Member Outreach Manager Christy Clark for questions or assistance.
