With CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) right around the corner (Mar. 2-4), don’t miss out on hearing from world-class keynote speakers, meeting with Ohio’s congressional delegation, and connecting with your fellow Ohio credit union leaders for a fun night of trivia by registering today! Better yet, if you register by tomorrow (Feb. 12), you will be entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card.
Hear directly from the new Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, House, and Urban Affairs, Ohio’s own Senator Sherrod Brown; the first Ohioan to ever hold the position. Also, hear from the following keynote speakers:
- Former New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie: Known for his trademark charisma and candor, Governor Christie will share his views on what is happening in the nation’s capital and how it will impact the credit union industry.
- Former Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel: Having served as a White House Advisor, member of Congress, and as Mayor of Chicago, Emanuel is able to see issues from the local, state, and federal perspective and share his insight and analysis.
- Former National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster: McMaster is a preeminent voice on leadership, global security, and international affairs.
- Award-winning journalist Soleded O’Brien: Serving as CEO of Soledad O’Brien Productions, she is a thought leader dedicated to telling empowering and authentic stories on a range of social issues.
- Former FDA Commissioner, Scott Gottlieb, MD: Dr. Gottlieb helped create a phased roadmap for navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and will share how healthcare policies drive innovation.
- Author Kevin Carroll: As an author, speaker, and agent for social change, it is Carroll’s “job” to inspire businesses, organizations, and individuals—from CEOs and employees of Fortune 500 companies to schoolchildren to maximize their human potential.
For those Ohioans attending GAC, the League will be hosting virtual trivia on the night of Wednesday, March 3, free-of-charge, where you will be able to trade stories and enjoy each other’s company; all with a bit of competition.
