Advocacy is considered by our members to be one of the most important benefits of the League. Credit unions are facing a crowded policy agenda and are working hard to protect their members.

The League coordinates three key events each year that bring together industry leaders to meet with Ohio credit union decision-makers and build relationships as they work for a stronger Credit Union Movement.

Credit Union Statehouse Day is a powerful opportunity for Ohio’s credit unions to unite and amplify their collective voice. This annual event brings credit union leaders face-to-face with state legislators and regulators to discuss the issues that matter most to our more than 3.3 million members. By coming together, we send a clear, unified message to Ohio’s decision-makers: credit unions are champions of financial well-being, supporting individuals, families, businesses, and communities across the state.

Credit union leaders from across Ohio gather together in Washington, DC to meet directly with key decision-makers, discussing the issues that shape the culture of credit unions and the communities they serve. OCUL facilitates impactful meetings and plans exclusive events that make for a memorable experience.
