The Louise McCarren Herring Credit Union Development Education Scholarship is available to attend the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (DE) Program. This scholarship grant honors Ohio native and state and U.S. credit union pioneer Louise McCarren Herring, who organized more than five hundred credit unions and was the first full-time managing director of the Ohio Credit Union League. Funds are available to cover registration, including tuition and lodging, for the DE training. You will connect the credit union past with the present by exploring the cooperative business model and social responsibility at this event hosted by the National Credit Union Foundation.
